We’re looking for past students living in Canada, EU/UK, Japan and Australia to serve as mentors at this year’s International HPC Summer School in Perth, Australia, July 12-17, 2026.
Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2026 (Anywhere on Earth)
This is a competitive application process, so we encourage thoughtful responses. We are particularly interested in your ability to contribute to non-technical mentoring.
Mentor Responsibilities:
- Give a lightning talk about your work and career path
- Run poster sessions
- Assist students during hands-on sessions
- Contribute to the mentoring programme
Preference will be given to:
- Applicants who did not serve as returning mentors at the 2024 Kobe Summer School or the 2025 Lisbon Summer School
- Those who have had a change in career stage (e.g., grads now in post-doc/professional positions, post-docs now faculty, etc.) since they attended the Summer School
You must attend the entire Summer School (July 12 evening – July 17 afternoon). Travel, lodging, and food expenses will be covered.
